Low Apr Credit Card

Are you carrying only low APR credit cards? As everyone who has ever owned a credit knows, purchases can get quite a bit more expensive than what the price tag suggested if you're dealing with a high APR. And there are probably those who got their first credit card and didn't even take into consideration the fact that there would be interest added to their outstanding balance. I certainly won't point any fingers, because I'd have to look in the mirror and remember myself at 19. The best way to combat such a situation is by only applying for and using low APR credit cards.

Trading a High APR for a Low APR Credit Card

If you're paying a percentage rate that's in the high teens to twenties on your credit card purchases, you've got to get rid of any of those credit cards and get a low APR credit card to take its place. Ideally, with some good credit card shopping, you can find a low APR credit card that will offer you either a low interest or zero percent balance transfer rate, so you may consolidate those high rate cards to a low APR credit card. APRs generally vary based on your credit score, but if you'll take the time to shop around, you'll find one that better fits your budget.

Where to Find a Low APR Credit Card

If you're interested in finding a low APR credit card, check out how easy the process is at a site like LowerMyBills.com . Ultimately, that's what you want to do, lower your bills!
