Equifax is the oldest of the three main credit monitoring agencies in the United States, including TransUnion and Experian. It has been in business since 1899 and its services have expanded over the years to meet the changing needs of its clientele. Today it offers credit monitoring services to 13 countries around the globe, employs over 4,600 people and generates annual revenues of $1.4 billion.

Equifax Credit Watch Gold

Equifax offers a variety of credit monitoring service subscriptions. These subscriptions start at about $4.95 a month and offer a few credit monitoring options, alerts and insurance policies. The first subscription that is available is the Equifax Credit Watch Gold. This service includes a daily credit alert, unlimited access to your credit report and a complimentary Identity Theft Insurance policy worth up to $20,000.

Equifax Credit Watch Silver

Your second subscription option is the Equifax Credit Watch Silver. This is the most basic subscription available. It provides you with a weekly credit alert, a complimentary identity theft insurance policy worth up to $2,500 and one copy of your credit report.

Equifax Score Watch

The third subscription that you can order is Score Watch. Score watch is not a credit report service. Instead it is a FICO score monitoring service. For your monthly subscription fee you get FICO score monitoring and alerts any time your FICO score changes.

Other Equifax Products

In addition to their credit monitoring and FICO score monitoring subscriptions, Equifax also offers a line of single payment products. These products include: Score Power, 3-in-1 Credit Report with Score Power and 3-in-1 Credit Report.
