| The GM Flexible Earnings Card offers cardholders the option of working towards cash rewards or credits that can be used to purchase a new vehicle. If you select the cash back reward option, then your earnings will be unlimited and you will earn a penny for every dollar that you spend. If you select the credits towards purchasing a new vehicle, then a cap will be put on how much you can earn. If you plan to use your credits to buy a non-GM brand vehicle, then you will earn credits at a rate of $.01 per dollar spent. On the other hand, if you plan to buy a GM vehicle, then you will earn credits at a rate of up to $.03 per dollar spent. |

This can save you between $25 and $100 a year, compared to other credit cards. Secondly, this card offers a 0 percent introductory APR that is good for the first 12 billing cycles that you have your card.
GM Flexible Earnings Card – Fees and Other CostsThe GM Flexible Earnings Card, like other credit card has some costs associated with its use. The first cost is the interest rate charged. Your interest rate is going to vary depending on your credit rating, your payment history and the Libor rate. However, you can expect your regular APR to start at 14.24 percent, 18.24 percent or 21.24 percent.
The second cost associated with this card is fees. The first fee charged is the cash advance fee. This fee is worth three percent of your cash advance, with a minimum fee of $15 and a maximum fee of $75. Balance transfers will also be assessed a similar fee. Finally, if you use your card outside of the U.S., then you will be assessed a Foreign Transaction Fee. This fee will be worth three percent of the charge amount, with no limit caps. |
