American Express New Clear Card -- Introductory Offer

Since there are no fees, the only cost for using this card is its interest rates. To start you off, there will be a six to 12 month introductory period. During the introductory period, you will not be charged an interest rate on your purchases. Also, if you transfer a balance to your American Express New Clear Card during the introductory period, then you will be charged an extra low 5.99 percent APR on the balance transfer as long as there is a balance remaining.

American Express New Clear Card -- Interest Rates

After your introductory period has expired, your interest rates are going to increase. Your regular purchases are going to be charged an interest rate somewhere between 11.74 percent and 18.74 percent. Your cash advances will be assessed an APR of 22.74 percent. If you happen to default on your account by paying late or going over your limit, then your APR will increase to a rate of about 20.74 percent. If your account becomes severely delinquent, then your APR will be increased again, this time to a rate as high as 29.74 percent.
